The 133rd Canton Fair closed, with a total of over 2.9 million visitors and on-site export transactions reaching 21.69 billion US dollars

The 133rd Canton Fair, which resumed offline exhibitions, closed on May 5th. A reporter from Nandu Bay Finance Society learned from the Canton Fair that the on-site export transaction of this year’s Canton Fair was 21.69 billion US dollars. From April 15th to May 4th, the online export transaction volume reached 3.42 billion US dollars. Next, the online platform of the Canton Fair will continue to operate normally. The total exhibition area of this year’s Canton Fair is 1.5 million square meters, with a total of 35000 offline exhibitors and a total of over 2.9 million visitors, all reaching historic highs.

According to the introduction of the Canton Fair, as of May 4 (the same below), a total of 229 overseas purchasers from countries and regions participated online and offline, including 129006 overseas purchasers who participated offline and 213 countries and regions, of which the number of purchasers from countries along the “the Belt and Road” accounted for about half.

A total of 55 business institutions participated in the conference, including the Malaysian Chinese Chamber of Commerce, the French Chinese Chamber of Commerce, and the Mexican Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Technology. More than 100 leading multinational enterprises organized buyers to attend the conference, including Wal Mart in the United States, Auchan in France, Metro AG in Germany, etc. 390574 overseas buyers participated in the online conference.

The participating enterprises in this year’s Canton Fair have uploaded a total of 3.07 million exhibits, including over 800000 new products, about 130000 intelligent products, about 500000 green and low-carbon products, and over 260000 independent intellectual property products. Hold approximately 300 events for the debut of new products.

In terms of import exhibitions, a total of 508 enterprises from 40 countries and regions participated, showcasing high-end intelligent, green, low-carbon, and products suitable for the needs of the Chinese market.

A total of 141 functions have been optimized on the online platform of this year’s Canton Fair. The cumulative number of visits to online platforms is 30.61 million, with 7.73 million visitors and over 80% from overseas. The cumulative number of visits to participating enterprises’ stores exceeds 4.4 million.

The various indicators during the exhibition period of the 133rd Canton Fair reflect that the Fair serves as a “barometer” and “vane” of foreign trade, reflecting the resilience and vitality of China’s foreign trade, indicating that the global business community is optimistic about the Chinese economy and full of confidence in deepening economic and trade cooperation in the future.

The next Canton Fair, the 134th edition, will be held on October 15th of this year, and the related investment and exhibition work has been steadily advancing.
